TempTask Launched

We have launched!

At TempTask, we’re proud to offer what, in our opinion, is the first Web Application dedicated to outsourcing the most frequent Quantity Surveying and estimating tasks.

We facilitate the matching of Clients with a need for Quantity Surveyors and Estimators to carry out tasks on their behalf, with experienced, qualified and competent registered Quantity Surveyors and Estimators able to provide their services on an individual task, nil-commitment basis.

All posted tasks are tendered to a panel of matched QS' and Estimators to ensure best value.

We provide the facilities to get tasks delivered online, including payment through our ecommerce facilities, and our own TempTask Messenger service giving you communication and file sharing tools.

For Customers

TempTask is ideal for customers who:

  • have a need for a specific task completing and do not have the resource of a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator;
  • need a specific task performed requiring a specific area of expertise that current staff resource does not hold;
  • have an upturn in work requiring additional short term resource for a specific task to supplement existing resources

For Quantity Surveyors and Estimators

TempTask is perfect for QS's and Estimators who:

  • Provide services on a freelance basis, with an unrestricted working capacity;
  • Are looking to make a soft exit from full time employment into freelancing;
  • Are currently working on a part time basis, with spare capacity to undertake additional workload;
  • Are currently full time employed, but wish to earn additional income from their skills in their own time;
  • Are in between positions;
  • Have retired and wish to still provide their experienced and skilled services on a flexible basis
